Beavers visit Order of Malta
Our new Beavers visited the Order of Malta tonight to begin their Emergencies Badge work.
They learned how to put small people and some big people into the recovery (safe airway position) as well as what to do if somebody collapses and how to sling arms and put bandages on injured people.
The Order of Malta meet and train every Tuesday night and take cadets from 9 years old if anyone is interested in joining and training with them. Unfortunately it clashes with our cubs, but they are always looking to train more people.
