First Meeting

Tonight 18th September 2014 we had the first meeting of the 89th Scouts. We had 11 girls and 6 boys at the meeting with 3 leaders, Ciaran, Fiona, and Brendan. The Provincial Support Officer and County Commissioner hosted a brief parents meeting to let them know what what was excepted of them and what roles they will have. In the Scout meeting we played some games to get everyone moving and interacting. We explained to the scouts about how scouting works and they asked questions. We finished the meeting with a few more games and took a photo of the group for posterity. Everyone seemed to enjoy the meeting and we expect to see them again next week. It was a great start.
